Connecticut Fishing Report: Striped Bass Stay Strong, Fluke Improve & Bluefin Tuna Bite Picks Up

Striped Bass Fishing Remains Strong Throughout the Region

Striped bass fishing continues to be very good throughout our region, with the best action taking place during the early morning hours and at dusk. Anglers fishing light tackle over structure are finding consistent success.

Offshore canyon fishing was excellent at Brick Rock last week, with the bite now shifting to Veatch Canyon and Fish Tails. Water conditions continue to look favorable from The Dip to the Hudson Canyon.

Best Offshore Tuna Techniques

Successful anglers are finding fish using both trolling and jigging techniques.
