The Fin Strike Perlon Hard Monofilament Leader Material is a stiff nylon leader material designed for tying bottom rigs, hook snoods, umbrella rig drops, and other applications where a firmer leader helps maintain proper presentation. Supplied in straight, pre-cut strands, Perlon avoids the coil memory commonly associated with leader material stored on spools. The increased stiffness helps keep hooks and branch lines positioned away from the main rig, reducing tangles and creating a cleaner presentation when fishing multiple-hook setups.

Hard monofilament construction also provides increased abrasion resistance for fishing around rocks, wrecks, reefs, and other structure where leaders regularly contact the bottom or the body of a fish.
