Daiwa Sea Power Electric Reels

The Daiwa Sea Power Electric Reels are built for demanding deep-drop and offshore applications where high torque, substantial line capacity, and reliable powered retrieval are essential. The Sea Power 1200 uses Daiwa's MEGATORQUE motor, delivering approximately 1.3 times the power of conventional designs with smooth startup and strong torque under heavy loads. By positioning the motor inside the spool and pairing it with a reinforced planetary gear system, Daiwa creates a more direct power path for efficient transfer of motor output to the spool.

A rigid aluminum body provides the strength needed for heavy offshore fishing while maintaining a manageable overall package. The Sea Power 1200 delivers up to 108 lb of hoisting power and retrieval speeds up to 460 ft per minute, making it well suited for deep-drop bottom fishing and deep-water swordfish applications. An easy-to-read DOT LCD display and integrated line counter provide precise depth information, while the JOG Power Lever gives the angler intuitive control over retrieval speed and power. The reel is finished with an aluminum round knob and includes the required power cord.
