L.T. Marine Commercial Cockpit Harpoons

The L.T. Marine Commercial Cockpit Harpoons are heavy-duty offshore harpoons designed to provide dependable performance for commercial fishermen and serious big-game anglers. Manufactured in Connecticut, the series combines a 2 lb marine-grade 316 stainless steel head with a 1" diameter 6061-T6 aluminum handle for a strong, manageable platform. The handle features a rough-textured non-slip grip for controlled throwing and a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard-coat anodized finish to protect the aluminum from corrosion and surface damage.

Available in 8' one-piece, 8' two-piece, and 10' two-piece configurations, the harpoons feature an 18" long, 7/16" diameter 316 stainless steel dart shaft designed to accept traditional 3/8" bore darts. L.T. Marine’s integrated dart retention system helps prevent the dart from accidentally sliding off the shaft when the line goes slack. Two-piece models use permanently attached, O-ring-sealed couplers to help prevent saltwater intrusion and include a storage bag. Each harpoon comes rigged with a traditional bronze tuna dart and is available with either Dyneema rope or vinyl-coated stainless steel cable rigging.
