The Daiwa Saltiga SK Jigs feature a Japanese slow-jigging design engineered to produce an erratic combination of falling, spinning, and fluttering action through the water column. During the descent, the jig moves unpredictably as it works toward the bottom or a targeted depth, creating a vulnerable baitfish presentation that can trigger reaction strikes from tuna, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and other predatory gamefish. The design allows the jig to cover different depths while generating action during both the drop and retrieve.
Once the Saltiga SK Jig reaches the desired depth, it can be worked with a straightforward winding retrieve that causes the jig to kick and slap from side to side as it rises through the water column. This combination of active swimming action and an irregular fall makes the SK Jig adaptable to traditional slow-jigging techniques as well as more continuous retrieves.
