Iland Lures "JR. Islander" offshore trolling lure

The Iland Lures JR. Islander is a compact offshore trolling lure designed to provide a highly visible presentation for tuna, mahi, wahoo, billfish, and other pelagic gamefish. Measuring 6 3/4 inches long and weighing 1 3/4 oz, the JR. Islander combines a reflective head with lustrous nylon fiber skirts that add movement and flash throughout the trolling spread. Distinctive gold eyes provide an additional visual target to help draw strikes from approaching predators.

The hollow-head construction allows hook shanks and portions of the rigging to recess inside the lure head, creating a cleaner trolling profile while helping maintain proper hook positioning. Its compact size makes the JR. Islander versatile for use on its own or as part of a larger offshore spread, including rigging with natural baits where appropriate. Hooks from 7/0 to 9/0 are recommended depending on the selected rigging configuration and target species.
