The Nomad Design Streaker Jigs are long-profile, fast-sinking metal jigs designed for medium to high-speed presentations in deep water and strong current. Their slim profile reaches depth quickly with less resistance from current, helping the jig remain vertical when targeting bluefin and yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, amberjack, striped bass, and other predatory species. A slightly flattened back and rounded edges create an erratic kicking and side-to-side action when retrieved quickly, while the jig can also glide and kick away from center during an unrestricted drop to imitate an injured or fleeing baitfish.
Built for demanding offshore jigging, the Streaker uses Nomad's Gorilla Through Wire construction with welded ends for additional strength against large gamefish. Triple Shield Protection applies three final clear resin coats to help protect the finish, with glow and holographic patterns available for different depths and conditions. The Streaker is particularly effective for deep bluefin presentations, Northeast sand eel bites, bottom fishing, and structure fishing in heavy current. Each jig comes rigged with BKK assist hooks, with 60 g and 80 g sizes using dual assists and sizes 120 g and heavier using a single assist hook.
