Black's Downrigger or Kite Release Clip

Blacks Downrigger release clips work well for kite fishing, downriggers, or rigged as flat line clips.   The clip simply threads on the downrigger or kit line and held in position with crimped sleeve.   Stainless hardware won't corrode or rust.
