Luminous Crimp Protectors

The Rite Angler Luminous Crimp Protectors are flexible sleeves designed to cover and protect crimped connections on offshore and deep-drop fishing rigs. Sliding over the crimp creates a smoother profile that helps reduce snagging and tangling while protecting the leader around the connection from chafing and abrasion. The sleeve also covers reflective metal crimps, reducing unwanted flashes from aluminum and other rigging hardware.

The luminous material adds a visible glow around crimped connections, making these protectors particularly useful for tilefish, deep-drop rigs, and other presentations fished in deep or low-light conditions. In addition to protecting individual crimps, the 50mm sleeves can be incorporated into droppers and other custom leader configurations where a smooth, luminous covering is beneficial. Each package contains five crimp protectors.
