Lee's Tackle Rod Holder Backing Plates

The Lee's Tackle Rod Holder Backing Plates are designed to reinforce rod holder installations by distributing mounting loads across a larger surface area. Compared with standard washers that concentrate pressure around individual fasteners, a backing plate spreads the load across the surrounding mounting surface. This added support helps reduce the risk of stress cracking, hardware pull-through, and damage when rod holders are subjected to heavy loads during offshore fishing.

Constructed from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance, each backing plate features elongated mounting holes that provide additional adjustment during installation. The slotted design makes alignment easier and provides added flexibility when working in confined mounting locations. Each plate includes three mounting bolts, nuts, and washers, with separate models available for Lee's Tackle Heavy Duty and Medium Duty Rod Holders.
