Daiwa Tournament Ballistic Surf Rods

The new Daiwa Tournament Ballistic surf rods come in ready-to-use versions or customizable blank versions. These three-piece, 13-foot surf spinning rods are built with Daiwa's SVF Nanoplus construction for a thinner, lighter, and well-balanced blank. Both the finished rods and blank versions feature Daiwa's V-Joint Technology, allowing the ferrules to bend for longer casting distance and preventing any flatness in the rod blank. Along with the innovative rod blank technology, the finished rods also include Fuji LC guides, a Daiwa custom reel seat, and fore and rear shrink grips. Both versions can be adjusted to fit the specific surf reel being used by adding or removing weights on the butt cap section. The Tournament Ballistic rods are available in three different actions: heavy, extra heavy, and XX-heavy (also known as the "Outer Banks" special) for casting lure weights ranging from 2 to 15 ounces.
