Shimano Grappler Type Slow J A Conventional Jigging Rods
The Shimano Grappler Type Slow J A Conventional Jigging Rods are premium offshore rods engineered for precise slow-pitch jigging presentations and controlled fish-fighting performance. Built with Shimano's Spiral X and Hi-Power X blank technologies, these rods deliver exceptional structural rigidity, sensitivity, and strength while minimizing twisting under heavy loads. The redesigned blanks feature supple tips and highly flexible actions that allow anglers to execute smooth, controlled jig lifts and falls with minimal effort. Measuring 6'6", the updated models are two inches shorter than the previous generation, improving lifting strength and reducing angler fatigue during extended jigging sessions.
A lightweight Shimano CI4+ Full Holding Reel Seat incorporates carbon reinforcement to enhance sensitivity while providing a secure, ergonomic grip for all-day comfort. Premium Fuji Alconite guides provide smooth line flow and dependable durability when fishing braided lines, while the refined blank construction maintains consistent responsiveness throughout the jigging cycle. The combination of advanced carbon reinforcement, controlled flexibility, and specialized components makes the Grappler Type Slow J series well suited for technical slow-pitch presentations targeting bottom-dwelling and pelagic gamefish in demanding offshore environments.
