Shimano Grappler A Type J Conventional Jigging rods
The Shimano Grappler A Type J Conventional Jigging Rods combine advanced blank technology, responsive actions, and powerful lifting capability for demanding nearshore and offshore jigging applications. Built with Shimano's Spiral X and Hi-Power X reinforcement technologies, these rods provide increased torsional rigidity while minimizing blank twisting under heavy loads. Updated jigging-specific tapers and actions, inspired by Shimano's flagship rod series, deliver improved balance, sensitivity, and efficient power transfer throughout each jigging motion. Medium-Heavy through Extra-Extra-Heavy models feature increased butt section strength for additional lifting power when battling powerful bottom-dwelling and pelagic gamefish.
Premium Fuji Alconite guides provide smooth line flow and dependable durability with braided fishing lines, while specialized components are matched to different rod power ratings. Medium-Light through Medium-Heavy models feature lightweight Shimano CI4+ reel seats for enhanced sensitivity and reduced overall weight. Heavy through Extra-Extra-Heavy models incorporate Shimano's ergonomic V-Hold front grip, providing improved leverage, hand stability, and comfort during prolonged fights. Combining advanced carbon reinforcement, refined actions, and purpose-built components, the Grappler A Type J Conventional Jigging Rods deliver versatile performance for serious offshore jigging applications.
