Shimano Tekota A Line Counter Conventional Reels

The Shimano Tekota A Line Counter Conventional Reels combine rugged construction, smooth performance, and precise line management for demanding trolling and conventional fishing applications. Built around Shimano's rigid HAGANE Body, the redesigned Tekota A provides improved gear strength and efficient power transfer under heavy loads. An ergonomic S-Compact Body design improves comfort and control while maintaining the durability needed for repeated use in freshwater and saltwater environments. The integrated line counter allows anglers to accurately monitor the amount of line deployed, making it easier to maintain consistent trolling depths and repeat productive presentations.

Shimano's CoreProtect technology provides additional water resistance to help protect critical components against corrosion, while the Cross Carbon Drag system delivers smooth, consistent stopping power when fighting hard-running fish. Line counter models feature an easily replaceable anti-fogging lens for improved visibility in changing weather conditions. A loud clicker provides an audible indication of line movement, while improved gearing supports faster, more efficient retrieval. Available in multiple sizes, including 500, 600, and 800 models, the Tekota A series offers versatile performance for a wide range of trolling and conventional fishing techniques.
