Savage Gear Sandeel Lure
The Savage Gear Sandeel Lure is a soft-bodied sand eel imitation designed to replicate the slender profile and natural swimming action of one of the most important forage species for striped bass and other saltwater predators. Its realistic body shape and holographic eyes create a convincing baitfish presentation, while the matched jig head and soft tail produce a lifelike swimming action. Although particularly effective for vertical jigging, the Sandeel can also be retrieved as a swimbait or incorporated into trolling presentations.
The jig head features two line-tie positions that allow the presentation to be adjusted for different depths and fishing techniques. A traditional forehead tie supports deeper and more vertical presentations, while the partially recessed forward tie provides an alternate attachment point for shallower presentations and swimming retrieves. Heavy-duty 5X hooks provide the strength needed for powerful saltwater species, and an upgraded bait keeper securely holds the matching Sandeel soft-plastic tails in position. Each pack includes one jig head and two bodies.
