UVT The Chief Rigged Tuna Lures

The UVT The Chief Rigged Tuna Lures are heavy-duty soft plastic systems designed for targeting bluefin tuna and other powerful offshore predators. Each setup combines The Chief hydrodynamic jig head with a precisely matched soft plastic tail and UVT Rigging System, creating an integrated presentation built to sink quickly, maintain proper alignment, and produce lifelike movement through the water. The front-cored head simplifies rigging and helps position the tail consistently, while the heavy head design allows the lure to reach deeper fish and remain in the strike zone in demanding offshore conditions.

A dual belly-slot tail design supports quick, secure rigging and makes replacement tails easy to install when needed. Each lure is equipped with a heavy-duty BKK 5X Puka 10/0 hook for the strength required when targeting large tuna. The system can be worked with streamlined or higher-action presentations to adapt to fish holding at different depths or feeding behaviors. Each package includes a fully rigged Chief setup plus an additional replacement tail, with White tails and White Glow jig heads available.
