Anchor Retrieval System
The Anchor Retrieval System provides an easier way to raise heavy anchors by using the boat’s forward movement rather than relying entirely on manual pulling. The system uses a buoyant A2 poly ball and welded stainless steel retrieval ring that travel along the anchor rode as the boat moves forward. Once positioned above the anchor, the buoyancy of the ball helps lift the anchor toward the surface, significantly reducing the effort required to bring it back aboard.
Built for demanding marine use, the system includes a 15.5" diameter red A2 poly ball connected to 1/2" twisted nylon rope with a spliced stainless snap and heavy-duty welded stainless steel ring. To use, the ring is placed around the anchor line and the ball is attached before driving along the direction of the rode. As the system travels down the line and the anchor breaks free, continued forward movement raises the anchor to the retrieval ring for easier recovery. The system can also be incorporated into certain quick-release chase rig configurations.
