Shimano Current Sniper Splash Walk Topwater Stick Bait
The Shimano Current Sniper Splash Walk Topwater Stick Bait is a heavy-duty saltwater lure designed to trigger aggressive surface strikes from powerful coastal gamefish. Featuring a responsive walk-the-dog action, the Splash Walk darts from side to side with controlled rod tip movements, closely imitating a fleeing or injured baitfish. An internal low-pitch knocker adds audible attraction to complement the lure's erratic surface movement, helping draw attention from nearby predators. Shimano's SCALE BOOST finish provides realistic baitfish detailing and reflective flash for a lifelike appearance in varying light conditions.
A strategically weighted tail allows the Splash Walk to sit vertically in the water during pauses, creating an enticing presentation while helping reduce missed strikes from fish attacking aggressively at the surface. The balanced design also provides extended hang time, allowing anglers to slow their retrieve and keep the lure in the strike zone longer. Durable through-wire construction reinforces the lure for demanding saltwater applications, making it well suited for targeting striped bass, bluefish, tuna, and other hard-fighting predators with topwater presentations.
