Poon Harpoon

The POON Harpoon is a modular offshore harpoon system designed to combine easy handling with the weight and penetration needed for large pelagic gamefish. Its design pairs a rigid, lightweight 1-inch hard-coated aluminum shaft with a concentrated heavyweight power head, keeping the shaft manageable for aiming while placing additional mass at the front of the harpoon. This balance provides controlled handling and accurate placement while delivering the momentum needed for effective penetration.

The Classic POON 10 ft Kit uses durable 6061 T-60 aircraft aluminum shaft sections joined by a custom-engineered aluminum coupler and end cap, allowing the harpoon to be assembled quickly using universal threaded connections. A solid 316L stainless steel shank and 2.2 lb solid brass head provide strength and forward weight, while the included bronze dart is pre-rigged with 5 feet of PVC-coated cable. The complete system packs into an included six-compartment storage bag for organized transport and storage aboard the boat.
