S-1200 Portable Wiring Kit

The S-1200 Portable Wiring Kit provides a simple, ready-to-use power connection for Lindgren-Pitman S-1200 electric reels when operating from a compatible marine deep-cycle battery. Designed for batteries with wing-nut-style terminals, the prewired assembly includes one foot of heavy-duty 8-gauge wire, soldered lug ends, and a Hubbell HBL328DCC inline receptacle that mates directly with the Hubbell plug installed on S-1200 reels from the factory.

A replaceable 50-amp Maxi fuse provides circuit protection, while clearly sized terminal connections simplify proper battery installation. The red lead connects to the positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal. For dependable marine performance, the receptacle and terminals should be kept clean and dry and periodically treated with a suitable corrosion inhibitor.
