The Century Vertical Jig Rods are fast-action offshore rods engineered for demanding vertical jigging applications where low weight, sensitivity, and lifting power are critical. Their blanks combine premium carbon fiber with graphene reinforcement and Century's Anti Twist Technology to maintain stability under the torsional loads generated while working jigs and fighting powerful fish. A reinforced butt section adds strength through the highest-load area of the blank while maintaining the responsive feel needed for effective jig control.
Century's autoclave processing produces a resin-lean composite with minimal voids for increased strength, sensitivity, and long-term durability, while Textreme outer armor provides an additional layer of protection to the blank. Titanium guides reduce weight and provide corrosion resistance for saltwater use, while an aluminum reel seat creates a rigid connection between the reel and rod. Thin EVA shrink-tube grips provide a secure, low-profile hold, completing a lightweight jigging platform built for serious offshore use.
