Creek Chub Striper Strike Plugs
The Creek Chub Striper Strike Plugs are classic long-casting lures designed for surf, inlet, and other situations where reaching distant feeding fish is essential. Their streamlined profile provides excellent casting distance, while the slow-sinking design offers versatility throughout the retrieve. When worked quickly near the surface, the Striper Strike creates the appearance of a fleeing baitfish, producing an active presentation that can trigger aggressive strikes from striped bass, bluefish, redfish, and other predatory gamefish.
Originally introduced in 1959, the Striper Strike has remained a proven option for surfcasters and inshore anglers targeting fish around beaches, current, and open water. The lure can be retrieved rapidly across the surface or allowed to sink before beginning the retrieve to work slightly deeper in the water column. Heavy-duty hardware provides the durability needed for hard-fighting saltwater species, while 3.5" and 4.25" sizes provide options for matching different forage and fishing conditions.
