RonZ Poxy Minnow

The RonZ Poxy Minnow is a long-casting resin jig designed to imitate the small, slender baitfish commonly targeted by false albacore, bonito, striped bass, and other inshore predators. Its internal weighting and balanced profile provide the casting distance needed to reach fast-moving schools of breaking fish, while the realistic shape and finish create a natural presentation when silversides, sand eels, and other small forage are prevalent.

Instead of traditional hard epoxy, the Poxy Minnow uses a soft, shatter-resistant resin that helps prevent the cracking and chipping that can occur when a lure strikes rocks, pilings, or other hard surfaces. The finish and internal weight are protected beneath the resin for added durability, while a heavy-duty 3X VMC treble hook provides dependable strength. The versatile design can be retrieved horizontally for feeding fish or jigged vertically for suspended and bottom-oriented species.
