Shimano Terez BW Slick Butt Conventional Rods

The Shimano Terez BW Slick Butt Conventional Rods are premium offshore fishing rods engineered for demanding big-game applications where strength, durability, and efficient power transfer are essential. Developed with input from tournament-winning captains, the Terez BW series combines Shimano's Hi-Power X and Spiral X reinforcement technologies with UD Glass blank construction to deliver exceptional structural rigidity and controlled flexibility under heavy loads. This advanced construction helps minimize blank twisting and maintains stability during prolonged fights, allowing anglers to apply consistent pressure when targeting powerful offshore gamefish.

Designed as a complete, ready-to-fish conventional rod platform, the Slick Butt models feature durable fixed butt sections and Fuji DPS-H reel seats for secure reel attachment. Premium components from Winthrop, Fuji, and AFTCO provide dependable line management and durability in demanding saltwater environments, with guide configurations varying by model. Purpose-built actions accommodate a variety of offshore techniques, including high-speed and slow trolling, deep dropping, swordfishing, bottom fishing, and live-bait fishing. The combination of advanced blank technology, premium hardware, and rugged construction makes the Terez BW Slick Butt series a dependable choice for serious offshore anglers.
