L.T. Marine Bamboo Gaffs

Calcutta bamboo has been used extensively for many years in the commercial fishing industry for its strength, and durability in the harsh saltwater environment.

We spent over a year, testing our gaffs on several commercial and charter fishing boats in the Northeast Giant Bluefin Tuna and offshore canyon sport fisheries with excellent results! Our gaffs feature Winthrop Tackle and Tiller Fabrication Fish Stix J hooks mounted on the centerline of the gaff without compromising the strength of the gaff blank. They are available in different lengths and grip options.

• Ideal for use on all pelagic species from Giant Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Big Eye Tuna, Swordfish, to Mahi, Tilefish, and more!
• Much stronger than Aluminum, they can take a beating and come in contact with rub rails and fiberglass. These blanks wont kink, bend, or shatter. They are built to stand up to commercial and charter boat use.
• These gaffs float.
• Available with Black Flocked Rubber.
• Available in 6’, and 8’ IGFA Legal Lengths.
• The hook end is protected with a sleeve and epoxy coated to prevent the gaff blank from splintering or from absorbing water.
