Van Staal VS X2 Series Bail-Less Spinning Reels
The Van Staal VS X2 Series Bailed Spinning Reels build on the proven durability and reliability of the original VS Series with enhanced strength, sealing, and cranking performance for demanding saltwater fishing applications. Constructed from fully machined 6061 aluminum, the one-piece body and stem provide exceptional rigidity while minimizing potential points of water intrusion. The fully sealed design protects critical internal components against saltwater, sand, and other contaminants, making these reels well suited for surfcasting, inshore fishing, and offshore applications. A titanium main shaft and stainless steel spiral-bevel gear system provide the strength and durability needed to withstand heavy loads and powerful gamefish.
The VS X2 introduces several performance improvements, including a longer handle with a Powergrip knob for increased leverage and more efficient cranking under pressure. An enlarged power drag knob provides improved control when adjusting drag pressure during demanding fights. The oversized clutch has been relocated to the pinion side for immediate engagement and responsive hooksets. Available in a wider range of sizes, including smaller, faster models for inshore applications, the VS X2 Bailed Series combines traditional Van Staal durability with the convenience of a conventional bail system.
